We are El Camino rookies so can not dive too deep into the offerings, however the guacamole and chips along with their multiple offerings of homemade salsas will light up the experience. The room is small but comfortable and open, seating is mixed: bar stools, booths and tables. but bottom line this place is fun the food and drink are top notch the staff is engaging and we had a great time enjoying happy hour, several times now. BF loved the tacos – so much that after he ate three he ordered two more! We seriously loved this place and felt immediately at home. I had it with corn tortillas because that is my preference. It was as excellent as pork-less green chili could be. I actually asked for regular green chili, but when it came out it was veggie – I didn't say anything because I was curious. The music was the exact right level so that you can have a private conversation but don’t have to yell. Lots of light from the front windows, the bar is spacious. I wish I could have stayed to drink there all day. El Camino made me wish we had more time to spend in Denver! We had: - House beer - House margarita - 2 street tacos (Tuesday is $1 street taco day!) - Flautas with carnitas - Veggie green chili with corn tortillas - Tacos de pescado House beer and margarita were awesome. We stopped in on our way to the airport and out of Colorado. None of that "fill your plate with a HUGE portion of so called Mexican rice & beans" stuff. On our first night at El Camino, I had their Happy Hour margaritas and regular menu vegetarian tacos. One look at the menu and I was sold! The place is small and in a very charming area of Denver. While looking for a vegetarian friendly restaurant/bar in Denver, I came upon El Camino on a google search. Order the tacos a la carte for under 4 each, or get the F’n deal, which comes with two chicken tacos and a Tecate for 6.25.
